OUR GOOD ADDRESSES FOR THE HOLIDAYS

It’s summer!!

We give you some tips for a good holiday:

Some addresses and places:

Beaches: The Uhabia in Bidart, the nearest beach with parking solutions, strong waves. The beach of Erretegia in Bidart, the most beautiful in our eyes.

For quiet beaches without waves: head to Socoa or Saint Jean de Luz. For small waves Hendayes is the best choice.

The mountain: Many hikes are to be done in the region, learn about the Net according to its level…

The Rhune train: Very busy! Highly recommended to book your tickets!

Les Ventas: Boutique restaurant nestled on the border: Our favorites are the Venta Antton in Sare (simple and efficient single menu), the Venta Loretxoa in Sare, 30 min mountain walk (unique menu)! And the Venta Burkaitz, near Itxassou at 45 min, the last 10 kilometers of road are magnificent!

You have to look at the routes and phone numbers on Google, these restaurants are not necessarily referenced, and do not take the CB as general rules on Trip Advisor. Reservation required!!

Day markets: Tuesday and Saturday in Bidart, Wednesday in Arcangues, Thursday in Anglet.

Night markets: Wednesday in Biarritz, Thursday in Bidart.

Basque Pelota: Tuesday and Friday in Bidart

Nice village: Sare (see venta), Guéthary (Basque Bar), Bidart (restaurant Venta Gaxuxa) etc.

City: Bayonne, Very nice historic city center, Biarritz: Aperitif, Saint Jean de Luz: the center, the beach (Italian restaurant TxiTxu).

Go to Spain:

-Old town of San Sebastian, parking in an underground parking lot at the front of the old town: beaches, shopping, aquarium and above all! Bar tapas! our favorite: Fuego Negro, Atari Gastroleku, Aralar…

-Hondarribia :Bar Tapas: Take the Boat to the port of Hendaye, crossing it hard 5 min, and you arrive directly at the center of the city which is to constitute a wide pedestrian street lined with bar in Tapas, The Gran Sol is the multiple champion of the category!

And don’t forget! No alcohol on the handlebars, on the roads of the Basque country there are many animals! Beware!
